View Full Version : One definite bright spot...

Through 20 games, the White Sox (12-8) have won five games in their last at-bat and are 7-1 in one-run games. The team had a 2-68 record in 2003 when trailing after eight innings and already have won three under that particular scenario in 2004.

I don't know if this has been discussed already, move it if it was...

Two and sixty-eight. My god that's horrible. We've already surpassed that mark and April's not even over.

Almost everything is the same as last year: We still blow leads, we still pop up, we still don't take walks, we still swing for the fences, but we don't give up anymore. Could that be the difference that gets us into the playoffs if everything else remains consistent with the last two years? If you tack on 5 comebacks to that 2-68 mark last year, that would've been the difference.
