Hey,
I am going to be headed to the game tomorrow and I've got seats in right field around section 108. I bought them off the Sox website and it says there may be obstructed views... anyone know how bad it is? Let me know. Thanks.

Unless you have a really tall person in front of you I dont know how those seats could be obstructed view

I would imagine that's what it is but is it really that bad? Anyone sit there before?

You may have a hard time seeing home plate depending where your seat is. nothin that you cant lean around though. Pretty good seats.

If you go here & click on Section 108 it should give you a rough idea. Depends on what row you have

I have. Lucked into one out that way one night. Nice seats, but you cannot see home plate itself unless you lean to the left or the right.

Thanks everyone. They don't sound too bad. Go Sox!

It's really not that bad, I sat there for Opening Day. Worst case scenario, you lean a few inches to your left or to your right.

I was worried about the same thing, although our seats are on the other side in section 156. I'm assuming from everyone's response that all will be fine and the views won't be bad. Wouldn't want to take my grandparents to their first sox game and have terrible seats!

I'm surprised the Cubune didn't take pictures from behind that foul pole and put them in their award winning USCF renovations article.

I think the tickets just have errors on them...I am going tommorow too and I bought tickets in the bleachers! I don't know How I could have obstructed view seating! It's in the middle of center field!

If you're sitting in the bleachers(they are in left-center) near the last few rows, or near the batter's eye, you can't see some of right field.

If you get there and it turns out that you can't get a good view, head on up to the fan deck.

the two small sections surrounding the batters eye are obstructed - you can't see the opposite side of the outfield.

that would really cheese me off if i paid full price! i agree that a foul pole is a minor obstruction (easy to lean around), but a wall?

steff - does your view include the old roof, bullpens and batter's eye? wow! :D:

just teasing. nice seats! my weekday seats are not terribly far from there - 121 row 21 - I love the view personally - I don't like it up too close to the plane of the field. 15 to 20 rows up in the LD gives a good angle to see the plays on the field.
