ESPN now has this stat to rate each pitching performance out of 100. Loaiza got an ]87 (it's at the bottom of this box score (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=240418130[/url). The previous high had been 78: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/stats/bestgames

It also ties for third best in the majors this year, only behind Oswalt's shutout of Milwaukee and Randy Johnson's shutout of San Diego.

And it will more than likely be put on page 5 of the sports section after

"SAMMY HOMERS TWICE, BATS COME ALIVE in loss to reds.

Loaiza pitches two hitter"

I dont care what his rating is, the only think that mattered to me was he looked like the dominant pitcher he was for most of the year last year. After the way he ended the season and his first two performances, I was hoping against hope that he wasnt sliding back into his previous years of starting, just being average. I am glad that he showed such a strong performance and gives me hope back that he will at least be a 15 game winner this year if not more.
