Couple of pretty sweet pitching stats.

We haven't given up an earned run in 22 innings pitched.

We are currently FIRST in the AL in TOTAL runs given up a game, giving up only 4.08 per contest.

We are currently FIRST in the AL in EARNED runs given up a game, giving up only 3.53 ER per game.

Sixth in the League in Bullpen ERA.

Third in the League in Starter's ERA. (Cleveland is first. They would be decent if their bullpen wasn't awful).

Stats don't mean a whole lot early on, but for the guff we've given the pitchers, this is pretty awesome.

To be sixth in bullpen ERA after originally shaky relief appearances says something, and it's that the bullpen is performing solidly (except for a certain player whose name rhymes with Willy Botch).

Overall, if those stats don't fluctuate much, with the offense the way it is, and Ozzie doing his best to keep everybody moving, it's gonna be a lot of fun for Sox fans.
