Did anyone else check out John Kruk's new column on ESPN.com

Pretty entertaining and true to some sort about the Yanks...The only thing is he said Carl Everett has a killer instinct.

Does anyone else disagree with that?

Everett is clutch cargo. I wish we could've kept him.

Everett and CLee were the only 2 players to show for that infamous series in Minnesota late last season. At the time I was saying we should keep those two and trade or release everyone else.

If I had my may I might've even traded Lee for pitching or prospects to keep Everett. We could use a left hander in the middle of the lineup. And I would do it without worrying about age because I don't think Lee will be here more than a year or two if we sign Maggs. With Anderson, Reed, Sweeney and Ordonez, who's gonna be the odd man out? The 8 million dollar left fielder.

I'm all for trading Lee (in the right deal). He is overrated. I would love to get a starting pitcher for him.

i think you guys are nuts for wanting to part with carlos lee so easily. the strides that guy has made since being told he was the starting left fielder have been remarkable. he has turned into a decent left fielder through hard work. he is always bustin' his ass on everything from a routine groundball to breaking up a double play. his teamates love him and so do the fans. plus, he is just coming into his own as a hitter. yes, his strike outs are a little high so far this year but i think he is still learning and getting better. also, i think he is a decent clutch hitter. it would have to be one hell of a trade for me to part with a player who has done everything asked of him and done it pretty well. i think the best is yet to come with c lee. hopefully its in a white sox uniform. :D:

Preach on brotha!!!!

Carlos Lee is a great player that I would hate to part with. He can hit for power and he has amazing speed for a guy that weighs 240 Lbs! Also, let's remember that LF is not his natural position. He played 3B in the minors, but had to learn the OF because of a certain 3Bman named Robin. (I don't know if any of you still remember him!)

Maggs and C.Lee need to stay on the southside for their whole careers!
