Down 7-2, come back in 5th & 6th to tie.

And you guessed it - Beltran homers....that guy's not too bad.

But in the end, the Royals found the same result as here in Chicago. The Twins came up with 2 runs in the 7th after KC had tied it, and I wake up to find the Sox, Twins, and Tigers tied for first.

As long as we win today, the team looked so lethargic last night. If they dont get in gear then they wont be tied for first for long.

He'll be wearing Pinstripes next year, but it won't be in Chicago...

KC is down by a slam and has the bases loaded for Mindy Lopez...

Yeah you're talking about Florida right?

Pretty bad road trip for KC so far. The Saturday game just ended in MN, and they've now dropped two up there.

I don't know....Boston has a chance at him, too. They are dropping a bit of salary and could pick him up. Or Maggs if the he doesn't get a deal with the Pale Hose.

No I think he meant Houston.

I'd really like to see Maggs back next year and I realize that the Yankees will make a push for him, but if the negotiation with Maggs falls apart, I really hope we make a push for Beltran. The guy is a stud.

I'm not sure about this. Isn't Beltran going to command top dollars like Maggs? I would expect that we'd instead go with some of our top prospects in the outfield if we can't sign Maggs.
