Sox 4, Tribe 4

We split the 8 games. We knew anything less than 6 would put out of contention. Look at the 4 we lost. The 2 this series were beyond horrible. We had both games locked up it seemed, totally locked up, then it all fell apart in the pen. Just think how easily those games should have been won. Look back to the last 4 games at Comiskey. We lost 2 there as well, and just like the 2 we lost in Cleveland, we had the lead and blew it. We had the lead in ALL 8 games. We blew it 4 times, 3 of the 4 were just awful. If we won all 4 of those winnable games, we'd be tied for first. If we won just 2 games that we had locked up out of FOUR, then we would be 4 games out...oh well, just been a rough year.

I think that for the most part, the difference has been our poor defense, a very thin Sox bullpen and two guys named Thome and Gonzalez.
