but Liefer CAN hit. Give him 550 at-bats, and his OBP will be respectable. It is hard to accomplisj anything with 220 at bats. His defense is as good as Lee's, but unlike Carlos, Leif can play 3rd and 1st. I say Leifer and Lee should duke it out in the spring training for the spot on the Sox. It is safe to say that Konerko is NOT one to go.

'tell you what...he may be a rotten fielder and probably would not have a batting average much more than what he has now, but wouldn't it have been worth the look for him to have had all of Haold Baine's at bats this year. What a wasted opportunity.
