For the second day in a row, when the Sox starting pitcher has come out of the game, they have slammed the glove on the bench with their pitching hand. If the Sox pitchers are interested in breaking bones in their pitching hands, then keep this stupid habit up. I would hate to see a Sox starter miss half the season for such a dumb thing.

This is a great point, I cringe every time I see that... A guy at my work broke his hand just banging a wall in frustration. I'm happy to see the passion, but I wish they'd figure out a different way to vent.

I understand their frustration, but try kicking over a water cooler or throwing the mitt. Slamming that incredibly important pitching hand into cement isn't too smart. A friend of mine broke his hand punching something after our high school team lost a soccer game. It's not a good idea.
