Based on the way we have played so far, can any one come up with a good theme song for the team?

Back in Black was the Purdue Football theme for this year, so I can't go with that.

I'll say Rubber Band Man, cause we keep coming back. Plus it has a really sweet beat.

I've been playing the The Very Best of Spinners lately...

I keep thinking that a AIC song would do justice here... Would?[/]

Gotta go with Megadeth's [I]Sweating Bullets... great song!

------------------------

As for KC's Beltran, Sweeney, Berroa and Guiel, Metallica's The Four Horsemen seems kind of appropriate when they play the Sox :(: ... on the flip side, their pitchers theme song is Beck's Loser... and thank goodness for that! :D:

for Aaron Rowand--Crash Into Me, Dave Matthews

for Bill Koch--Burden in my hand, Soundgarden

for Harold--BRING ME TO LIFE, Evanescence

for Reinsdorf--Money, money, money, money...MOOOOONEYY.

I like Back in Black, I was also thinking maybe "Hammer to Fall" by Queen and as more of a knock on attendence "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd, and as pity for the fans maybe "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Stones. :(:

"Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye"

Why bring back this classic Sox theme? Simple. If we don't tie this one down as a Sox anthem for all time, then the Flubs are going to steal it just like they stole Harry, Jack, the 7th Inning Stretch, and the loyalty of most Chicagoans (the gullible, stupid ones, anyway).

Nothing gets my Sox heart pumping black and silver blood like that song.

I totally agree! I love this song. I suggested that it should be played during every 7th inning stretch, not the NF organ version but the Steam version. "Take me out to the ballgame" is so boring and besides, it was stolen by the scrubs.

Boom by P.O.D.

You didn't know, thought we was new on the scene
Well, it's alright! It's alright!
I know you know, I see you smiling at me
Well, it's alright! It's alright!

Boom! Here comes the Boom!
Ready or not, here comes the boys from the South
Boom! Here comes the Boom!
Ready or not, How you like me now?

That first part describes how the Chicago media doesnt seem to know we exist, but now they like us. Boom is the sound of Mags, Frank, Paulie, Carlos, etc hitting one deep. And boys from the south is obviously since the Sox are from the South Side.
