- Sox league-leading offensive surge continues, as they win again and tie for the lead in AL Central wins
- KC falls to 3rd place, demoralized by dramatic 9th inning collapse and lack of quality pitching
- Twinks stay mired in 4th with a team ERA near 6.00
- Garland pitches great until tiring late in his second straight 115+ pitch outing
- Koch did just enough damage to lose the closer role without losing the game
- Uribe continues his hitting tear
- Konerko again stays out of the DP and gets the job done in key situations
- Crede reaches base three times and knocks in the game winner
- Olivo flashes potential as a rare all-around threat at catcher

I'm just so darned happy. :D: You are right, there are many positive things happening for the Sox right now. Also, the teams the Sox have played so far this year are considered contenders. It's nice to have a winning record against teams that have been predicted to be better than you.

The thing I like the most about today's game is the fact that the Sox came back in the 9th to win the game. This team is playing with a lot of heart and guts. I think Ozzie has a lot to do with that.

I'm still flying. We needed a win like this.

You spoke too soon about Minnesota and about being tied for wins.

Twins are up 3-1, Tigers are up 4-0.

Actually, I spoke right on time. If I waited any longer, I wouldn't have been able to say it.

Now one game back of the kitties and still ahead of KC and the twinks.
