I saw some of the highlights of the game today, and when Paulie hit the homer to put them up 7-4, as he was rounding the bases, Tony G. gave him a smile when he passed him.

Just thought it was a nice thing to see.

I hope Tony G wasn't disgusted by it.

They are pretty good friends. I remember at every game I was at last year they would always do their pregame warmups together, chatting with each other.

It was somewhat ironic they both hit homers today too.

rooney and farmer were talking on the radio about how tony g and paulie are real good friends and how they both have tremendous respect for eachother. so it wouldnt surprise me tony g would do that. tony is a classy guy...its too bad we lost him.

I'll admit to getting some joy out of seeing Graffanino's home run, especially since it did NOT cost us the ballgame.
