I echo that, but that first outing by Marte was just ridiculous. For his ERA to return to 4.5, he needs to pitch 5 consecutive scoreless innings. I think he can do it, but letting up 3 ER in one game was ridiculously bad for someone who gave up only about 11 in 80 innings last year.

Marte for blowing the big one.

I'm going to agree here too. I have the strange feeling that he is going to inherit the title "Mr. GIDP" from PK this year.

On a side note, CLee has been alright, but the six K's and 0 walks really concerns me. I thought that he was learning to be more selective at the plate?

Now if we're talking defense, though, Crede has been Gold Glove quality thus far.

I'm not disappointed with anyone. Jose's errors are horrible, but at least he has made up for it as of late with his bat. The season is very young and the atmosphere is better now than in 6 years under Manuel.

Rowand has been awful. But thats what you get when you give an unproven guy the CF job w/o any competition and is another reason spring #s dont mean anything.

Gotta be Danny Wright for me.

He looked so good in spring, only to duff one in NY...

Hopefully it's just a weather change/control type issue, and nothing more endemic.

When it comes to offense, it's usually a little while before players hit their strides when they switch from Arizona to the North. Just look at the Yanks! I'm not too worried about Crede, Rowand or Hurt yet.

I have to say Marte. Blowing that save was a big disappointment. I hope that was as bad as it gets for him.

I gotta go with Danny Wright. I saw the ST game he pitched against the Cubs and thought he looked great. He started off all right against the Yanks but couldn't hold on. Marte disappointed us all in game one but I think we all know he'll get much better. Can't say I have the same confidence in Wright, although I'd love for him to prove me wrong.

I'm a little suprised the there are so many votes for Rowand. His offense has been disappointing, but I think his defense has been pretty right on. Little Willie's offense has picked up over the past few games; hopefully Rowand is quick to follow.

Rowands alright, Thomas will come around, Harris has always sucked, Wright Im not so sure about, but Marte really blew it big vs the Royals.

Valentin... What, does he have more strikeouts than hits, runs, and RBIs combined, right? Good #2 hitter.
