For the record, I have a brother who's a Yankees fan (no accounting for taste, or lack thereof), who pointed this out to me.

it's like a bizzaro-world version of WSI... everybody brimming with happy arrogance and confidence that, come hell or high water, their team will once again find the money to triumph over their evil, shllower-pocketed competition...

there was a thread complaining about how national sports media have "written off" the yank's chances!

It was interesting to read that thread. It does seem like they are willing to give our team a little respect, and I think that if we did meet the Yanks in the playoffs it would be a hell of a series.

That Yankee site looks mightily similar to WSI, are both sites based on the same programs?
