Yesterday was dead-even 9 to 9 in stories both papers.
Yesterday like today, sees Mike Kiley using the term "cub world series". It gets pretty sickening trying reading how Kiley tries very hard to insert that term somewhere, anywhere. Our good friend Fred "Cub" Mitchell today has a Q&A column. Guess what the subject is? Yup, Cub related Leon Durham. He thinks
the world is all cub. 3 of the last 4 "q&a's" have been Cub Related. In fact, 8 of the last 15 have been Cub related, with NONE in that 15 story span White Sox Related. Zero. terrible
Lost in all of this is the cubs hitting the 300 mark, and we
barely passed Opening Day
Chicago Cubune:
4 cub stories
3 sox stories Rosenbloom ripping Sox Mgmt, deservedly
Chicago Cub-Times:
3 cub stories
2 sox stories
Standings since Spring Training ..............
CUBS 312
SOX 180
