Sox get 3 runs in the 1st.

E-lo goes 1-2-3 in the 1st, with 2 grounders and a K to end the inning.

Sox get 1 in the 2nd.

E-lo holds the Royals to just a hit and a walk through 5.

Sox get 2 more in the 6th.

E-lo gives up a single in the 6th and a double in the 7th, but gets out the jams both times.

Sox score 2 more in the 8th.

Koch comes in and gets 6 straight outs in the 8th and 9th.

Sox celebrate being .500 after a relaxing 8-0 win.

:)

Don't have to explain mine. I think you did it just perfectly.

Sox score 15 runs in the first inning, and E-Lo pitches a perfect game.

how about the exact opposite of what happened today

Now that I give it some more thought, I'd really like to see Takatsu and Marte pitch one scoreless inning a piece.

Wille Harris scores 15 runs in the first inning, and E-Lo and five relievers combine to pitch a perfect game.

It would be ideal to pull the same thing they pulled on us.

Sox 010 110 006 9
KC 101 001 000 4

If you really wanna forget about today, above is how you do it.

Loaiza shines, assuaging Sox fans' worries that 2003 was a fluke. He pitches a 3 hit complete game shutout. The Sox score 7 runs again, one a solo shot from Thomas in the first, 4 in the 5th, 2 in the 8th.
Granted, a no-hitter or perfect game would be nice, but I'm giving you my realistic ideal game 2....is that an oxymoron? realistic ideal?

No bad, though we'd still have to face the royals in the bottom of the ninth.

Any W would be perfect.

While I agree with any win sufficing. A 12-1 rout of the Royals would be beautiful and take the sting away from Opening Day.

I'll take a win. Dominating, sloppy, lucky or ugly...

Reiney Get's in a minor car accident on the way to the game and comes to the realization that life is short and he should ejoy the twilight of his life. Sells the team to Mar Cuban who in-turn begins revamping the Entire pitching Staff Keeping Estaban, Buehrle, Marte, and Garland...

Before game time they annouce the aquisiton of Barry Zito, Tim Hudson and Mark Mulder Who's first starts will all go against the recently Flu Ridden Yankees in the Upcomming series....

And the rest will just be history!

Realizing his dream of owning the Brooklyn Dodgers is at last a futile enterprise, JR decides he wants more Dodger players on the team that he does own. Kenny trades Konerko for Gagne and the bullpen settles down for the rest of the season.

Loaiza drills Beltran in his first AB starting a bench-clearing brawl. Sox go on a first-half run exactly like in 2000 starting with a 4-game Yankee sweep in The Bronx. JR then gives KW carte blanche to reload for the 2nd half and the playoffs.

It all hinges on Loaiza drilling Beltran and KW not screwing up anymore deals.
