I don't like the new backstop at Oriole Park.

Are they trying to wriglify it? Camden is a much better ballpark than the urinal without bricks and crap in the back

Does Pedro think Don Zimmer is now the Orioles' bench coach?

Nice to see the greatest pitcher ever struggle. :)

Wasn't Pedro's velocity down in the playoffs last year too? I can't remember a time when so many players have experienced a sudden loss of velocity for an extended period of time. i.e. Koch and Borowski.

Is Johnny Damon fresh from his stint as an extra in the Passion of the Christ?

I thought all that hair and the subsequent air resistance would prevent him from running down that fly ball.

"Wriglify"-(v.) To make ugly, as in Wrigley Field.

LMAO.

That should win WORD OF THE WEEK.

Is any one else tired of hearing Joe Morgan yet?

You know...if it weren't for the fact that the phrase "twilight of his career" is loaded for Red Sox aces, I might say Pedro is quite close to the twilight of his.

I know, I know, it's a long season, so who knows. But then again, the last time I saw a picther so rattled that he hit two guys and almost hit a third...well, it was me on the JV team.

Miller and Morgan form my favorite announcing crew in all of baseball.

The Orioles Big 3 (Tejada, Palmeiro, Lopez) is most certainly going to produce this year. This lineup realistically could end up being among the best in the AL. It has the potential to be the second best behind the Yankees IMHO. That being said, they dont have any pitching beyond Sir Sidney so they will look similar to the Rangers teams of the past few years (Lopez as IRod, Tejada as A-rod and Palmeiro as Palmeiro) except that their pitching will probably be significantly better than that of Texas.

someone on the RedSox threw HIGH and TIGHT to an Jay Gibbons. Gibbons ducked and almost got in the head with the Pitch. Joe Morgan says "The crowd is 'oh-ing', but the pitch wasnt really as close as the crowd thinks. Gibbons was just stepping into the pitch. At that moment, the Replay of the Pitch starts, and shows the ball almost hitting the batter in the head.
Joe Morgan = jerk.

In any other division in the AL, they could win by 7 or 8 games...poor bastards.
