Plans For The Season Opener

Unfortunately I Am on Shift At the Firehouse tomorrow, So I Will be Watching The game At Work. Is Anyone going to McNally's?

My usual opening day vs KC routine: turn on the radio, listen until the Royals take a big lead, turn it off in disgust, go online and rant about the hopelessness of the team.

I'll be at work until just after 3:30. I'll catch the last part of the game on the radio.

I'm not watching or listening to it. I just get too emotionally involved in opening games, and with an off-day the next day, there isn't a quick turnaround to pick up a W, if the Sox lose.

Plus, I have a test at 5:00, and I need to concentrate on that, as I'm on the verge of being kicked out of graduate school. :angry:

I'll check the score after I screw up the test, and down a few shots of whiskey.

I think I will talk myself into buying the Gameday audio by the time the game start so I can listen to the stream at work, since a radio wont work in here. But working til 4:30 so I will probably only catch the postgame report on the radio.

I'm taping the game since I have to work. :(: I try to isolate myself from sports news sources and people who may spoil the score. I will then go home, put the tape in, and take the phone off the hook. :D:
