We usually beat Hudson. At most he has one victory against us.

DH-Edgar Martinez

Also any Oriole from the late '70s makes this lineup. They always beat us with a different player/pitcher all the time. Damn Eddie Murray

Jose Guillen is an outfielder. Are you sure you aren't thinking of Carlos Guillen?

yeah, I can remember a few times watching the sox beat hudson and watching him throw hissy fits in the dugout

guys the sox don't hit: knuckleballers. everyone seems to swing way too hard at them.

the '99/'00'/'01 Royals with the likes of Johnny Damon, Carlos Beltran, and Carlos Febles seemed to drive us crazy. and they'd all turn into gold glovers in the field too. Awful.

i actually went a looked up what wakefield has done against the sox the last 3 years, and he actually hasn't beaten the sox at all. He's 0-4. but he's holding the sox to a .233 BA, so maybe that's why i seem to remember them looking so bad against him always.

also, steve sparks is 2-6 with an almost 6 ERA against the sox in the last 3 years, so I don't really know what I was thinking . . .

If I had a nickle for every clutch hit Rusty Greer got against the Sox, I'd be a wealthy man.

Don't forget Joe Randa, too.

One of those years (2000?), Jermaine Dye seemed to hit about .750 against us and stole a number of runs defensively.

Rafael Palmeiro has done some damage too.
