Actually, WinningUgly made it for me on his own accord so you can thank him.

I dont think we need to make shirts unless Schoeneweis actually makes it to the first set of home games in the rotation, which wont happen.

I don't know if you heard it out there or not but Mark Prior has been shut down until May... it's nothing serious though, just one of those minor injuries that won't heal over the offseason. They have been pushing his start date back over and over again too, because they just want to play it safe with this minor injury

I had joked about that scenerio before, but they actually believe it. Wasn't the offseason enough rest. Maybe we should send Buerhle on a vacation and bring him back in June. What do you guys think?

We're not watching the game. We're not listening to the game. Shouldn't we be on our cell phones or talking to each other about our recent purchases at the Gap or decaf mocha lattes or something? Oh wait. That'd make us Cubs fans. :D:

Is this what we're reduced to? Why should die-hard fans have to guys how a run was produced or even who's pitching? The darn blackhawks get better game coverage than this. I saw we burn a statue of something in effigy (shamme or something). Not that i don't like getting my updates through a forum, but we have no clue whats going on... none

Well, #1, I'm sure the Cubs aren't on two different stations, the Cubs are on one and the other team they are playing is on one, some people must just get both. But, yes, of course some people care, but the ratings obviously aren't good enough to have every game televised or on the radio.

And, yes, spring training does matter, but it doesn't matter enough to be freaking out if you have to wait a few hours to find out what happened - I think people today are just generally spoiled and expect to know what happened anywhere instantly. Imagine what it must have been like to follow baseball before there was TV or Radio? Hell, even before the internet is hard to imagine now. So I think I/We/Whatever can handle the hardship of not being able to hear a couple of spring games live.

If they're not playing their regulars, we probably didn't need Garland to go in the B game today to make sure KC is unprepared to face him.

I guess i am spoilled because last year i got to see live images of tanks blowing up huts and bombs falling on cities. At least let us see Maggs pop some bombs that don't hurt anybody except a scrub pitcher's chances at being on the team

AP-Tony Pena thought he would rest his regulars in todays spring game against the White Sox. Only Ozzie Guillen one-upped him by letting several Fans don Sox uniforms and play against KC. Result? several of the Fans have come up big. Tom Orlinpinski, a Sox fan from Oak Park IL, playing in his 1st pro game ever, is already 3 for 3 with a pair of Rbi singles.

That's the one I had the most trouble with. I had a lot of confidence in Gordon and I felt that if our pitchers could give us 6 good innings this year, the closers would do the rest. But with the way Schoenweiss is pitching this spring, we might have been better off with Colon. It's too bad we don't have either one now.

This is one of those box scores that's a lot of fun to read:

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/scores104/104089/20040329CAC--CHWHITESOX0.htm

Harris went 3-for-5 at second (1 2B, 2 R, 1 RBI), Uribe 1-for-2 at third (1 BB, 1 2B, 3 RBI). Magglio went 4-for-4 (1 HR, 2 2B, 3 R, 4 RBI). Maggs and Rowand homered.

Cotts' line: 3 1 0 0 1 1
All 3 KC runs were given up by David Sanders.
