No feed available on mlb.com. As per usual, I'll miss the first part of the game. Soon this will all be over.

The Brewers feed was cancelled and the Sox feed is delayed because of the NCAA Tourney.

No radio feed on mlb.com. The Brewers feed is unavailable and the Sox feed won't be on because of the tourney according to the AM 1000 website. Oh well.

I'm willing to give Schoenweis a chance as long as he shows us that he is actually able to pitch. We haven't seen that quite yet. If he comes out here and pitches a scoreless start, I will feel a lot better. If he gives up 2 runs or less then it's acceptable. If he gives up 3 or more runs, I will continue the criticism.

btw 2000th post!!!!

Well we could get any starting pitcher in the majors via trade or in-house we could send out Rauch, Grilli or Cotts. It sounded like Rauch was first in line in case anyone were to falter.

Aaron Sele is rumored although he's expensive. Supposedly the White Sox have shown interest in getting him from Anaheim. Talk about washed up...

Well I don't know what KW expects then. Instead of non-tendering Schoeneweis he gives him 1.7 million to be a stater - something he's struggled at in the past - and now he's upset he's not pitching well? Well duh! I think we could've done more with that money. Give Rauch, Diaz, or Cotts the other rotation spot and then use the 1.7 we paid Schoeneweis plus the 750,000 we paid Takatsu and you can sign a pretty good reliever.

We should trade SS and pay half his salary. We might get a mediocre prospect in return. He might find some usefulness as a lefty specialist in some ailing bullpen, but I wouldn't describe our bullpen as such as it is.

If KW comes out after today and tells us that he still has some sort of confidence in Scotty, I'll be very upset.

I'd prefer to see the ultimate vote of no-confidence by having him never again appear in a white sox uniform

I'd send him to the minors for awhile instead. Why trade players when they are at the bottom of their game? You'll get very little in return. For example, Konerko is probably a lot more valuable in a trade after a good spring training than he was in the middle of his long slump last year.

Yeah, I'd say Konerko has doubled his trade value this spring.

Hmmmm....what's 0 X 2? :)

How about "Schoe's Foes" instead?
It rolls off the tongue, no???
:D:

He seriously sucks.
Hasn't done squat since the Sox got him.
Awful.
If they're hellbent on having a lefty in the rotation, I'd rather see Cotts in there.

We should have a poll to ask which excuse will be used by Show's piss poor outing:

A) Hang Nail (on his toe)
B) Big Zit on forehead
C) Sore throat
D) Hangover
E) Dandruff

And no errors for the Sox, so all 6 would be earned too. Sweet.

That's no entirely correct -- he had 6 K in 3 innings.

To give him 26 in 17 innings. Whatever he is doing with cutters and change-ups in the 'Zona air, it's fooling the hitters.

In between flying out of the park, of course. :)

Well that's what whitesox.com said.

Does it really matter how many people you strike out though if you give up a billion other hits??

Schoe's Foes lives.

Now let's all remember that Milwaukee is an offensive juggernaut, with a limitless payroll...

Oh, that's the Yankees. Nevermind. Don't let him board the plane back north.

No, hence the "flying out of the park" reference.

Then again, Show was never a strike out pitcher so such a high K rate is interesting, especially down at Tuscon.

Now he's gotta work on avoiding 3-0/3-1 counts so he wouldn't have to come back with a a get-me-over gopher ball. :)
