Sosa lets a line drive ricochet off his head. That's worth the price of admission right there. You gotta see this.

Did it look painful? I turned on the game in the 5th.

I saw it. Brian Giles hit a line drive to Right Field, Sosa charged in and dove for the ball, and it went over his glove and ricocheted off his head.

It got pretty good distance off his head as well, as it flew all the way to the wall on the fly. Chip and Steve were just thankful it stayed in the park.

Oh man, that was pretty good. My dad is a Cub's fan, but even he had a good laugh about that one. Hopefully the first of many, lol. :D:

Are you watching the Cubs post game? They called Ginter MARK Ginter, yet they showed him striking some people out.

And the highlights they showed of Timo Perez was him striking out....

Did you happen to notice who he was struck out by. Don't they make money from the Sox too. What's the deal here?

That's Sosa for you. He was late getting to the ball, hence the dive, and that was mis-timed.

The local Fox News showed the replay at least 4 times in a row on Saturday nite. :D: Each time was funnier than the last.

Wow. It HIT him square on the noggin on the dead fly. That had to hurt.

Any word on the condition of the ball?

"I guess the ball hasn't been taking its Flinstone vitamins!"

With a cranium as big as Soso's I'm surprised he doesn't get hit more often. It's as big as his ego.

Come on, don't exaggerate. His ego is much bigger.

Does anyone know if Scammy was given an error for that play, or was it scored a double as the Chicago sportswriters would have scored it at Wrigley?

Nice to hear someone describe what actually happened. I heard Chimp say that the ball hit Sosa in the head, rather than saying he misplayed it terribly......
