I don't have any way other than Yahoo to watch but the Sox are up 2-0 in the top of the first... My guess is some one hit something!

The game is not on ESPN AM 1000, nor is it being offered by MLB.com Gameday audio. Anyone know if it is on some obscure am radio stream in Colorado?

I dont think it's being broadcast anywhere. We'll have to infer about what is happening.

I checked the KOA (Colorado) website- they don't have it either.

My Guess is Sweeny has hit for the Cycle and Frank is Batting leadoff... Wright got the Start but his achillies was injurred last September and it still hasn't healed. No Biggie achillies tend to take 7-10 months to heal, especially Minor injuries. Mr. Zero came in and gave up 2 runs on 5 hits and it's now the top of the third Uribe is trying a left handed batting stance in order to "fit" into the line up.

No radio coverage at all.

Man, you'd think Spring Training games didn't count or something.

Here's where we can enjoy the fantasy scenario of Frank Thomas DESTROYING the catcher on a play at the plate. YEAAAAARRRR! WHAT A BEAST!

Konerko gets on with an infield bunt, avoiding the Double play and setting up a bases loaded one out situation.

Dan Wright beans Todd Helton. Benches clear but no ejections. Wright gets out of the inning, end of 3, Sox 4-2.

No kidding. We have an *un-official* 2:00 rule in our office.

On Friday at 2:00 (or Thursday if Friday is a holiday) nobody has to work anymore. That's usually about the time I start making sure my desk is nice and clean and work on my time sheets, etc...

:D:

I'm getting chills thinking about Willie Harris and Paul Konerko in the same lineup. Scary.

Uribe comes back to haunt his old team by hitting a HR that bounces off the head of left fielder Holliday and over the fence. 5-2 Sox top of 5th.

seems to be a discrepancy over who hit that homer! :D:

Hmmmm, I'll just bet Ryan Sweeney hit a two run Homer.
Thomas singled, stole 2nd. Stole 3rd and sweeney hit a 3-0
pitch 450 feet.

Well I'm assuming that Wright is out of the game now (after 7 innings I think that's safe). It looks like he gave up just two in his "big inning." If he can limit the damage when he gives up a big inning and turns it into a smaller inning, then I would have a lot more confidence in him.

Danny Wright, welcome back.

I have been knocking you for about 1.5 years now, but it looks like you are finally getting it together. Please carry the success to the season, like Loiaza did last year. Please. We need you.

Oddly, even at his best, Koch allowed lots of baserunners and an occasional run, and still picked up saves. So maybe this means he'll be the Rolaids Boy again this year.

Out of all the good in the box score....

Willie going 2-3 to bring his average to .296 and OBP to hitgh .300s
Aaron showing his ability once again.
Jose continuing to hit well.
Wright pitching the HELL outta the ball

And you pick what Koch did. Doesn't make sense to me. And btw, he WILL be our closer, whether u like it or not

This return to submediocrity was easily predicted when you saw him on TV. The people he was getting out were AA players who had no chance to stick in the majors. He has no command, and a straight 90-91 mph fastball now. It he was left handed, he would be Mike Porzio. He will probably still be the closer, but it won't be for long. KW better start making some phone calls. They can talk about where his foot lands, being the key to his success. I think where it lands justs gives him a better view of the ball leaving the park.
