The centerfold (City Insider) is all about Chicago baseball to get everyone ready "to climb aboard the baseball bandwagon." It's not available on the web, so I'm only copying the highlights here.

"10 things every Sox fan should do."

#3 Register with whitesoxinteractive.com: Here's where you can meet the smartest and most bitter White Sox fans around. Be careful. Some of them bite.

Here's my favorite quote from the webmaster there...

"Cubs fans are nice people, they're just not too bright."

Enjoy.

Wow the Bleacher Preacher's reasons for being a cubs fan has nothing to do with the team or players either.

#1 EAT A BRAT: But there's a catch. You have to eat it while tailgating at U.S. Cellular Field, and it has to come from your neighbor's grill. Asking should work, but feel free to bring a pitchfork.

Tailgating is great and everything but why not mention that USCF has some of the best ballpark food in MLB???

#10 GO TO WRIGLEY FIELD: Bear with us here. Win the admiration of all Sox fans by putting on your Dick Allen throwback jersey and parading around the concourse holding a sign reading "1908" on the front and "Never again" on the back.

***? I'm all for making fun of Cubs fans and everything but why in the world would I want to pay for a ticket to do it? The least he could have done was said go to a Cubs/Sox game at Wrigley to taunt the fans...

Nice job, George! Your responses were well thought out and the Bleacher guy came off sounding like the representative of the simpleton fans that he is. :D:

Let's hope this leads to more members. I dont think that White Sox Interactive is anywhere near as big as it could possibly be and positive publicity like this helps our cause.

Brilliant coverage!

Now we just need to take that damn Sox/Cubs poll.

And yeah, the Bleacher Preacher basically said everything you would expect a Cubs fan to say.

Nice job kickin his ass, George.

This list was put together by Jimmy Greenfield, who is a Cubs fan at heart but very "fair and balanced" with his coverage of Chicago baseball. I worked with Jimmy when I did the CLTV/RedEye roundtable last summer before the Cubs/Sox series. Great guy. Daver's spoken to him as well.

"The Ivy and the scoreboard with a 'W' and 'Cubs WIN! Cubs WIN!' flashing on it."

Actually that second part of it is important-- as that's the only way half the fans would know it.

At least the Bleacher Preacher said that Cubs fans should shut their cellphones and not talk about the Dow Jones average while they're at the Cubs games.

Jimmy gave Maegen my e-mail address as a contact for help on this article, and I forwarded it to PHG.

Wilkes is correct though,Jimmy is a nice guy, that is not afraid to look outside the box when it comes to doing fan based pieces,I have helped him with a couple of his projects.
