Ozzie has stated that we will go with a 7 man bullpen. Rank the bullpen using the 7 whom you think will make the team.

1. Marte
2. Politte
3. Wunsch
4. Koch
5. Adkins
6. Grilli
7. Takatsu

The first 4 form a really good core. Adkins might be pretty good this year. Grilli will be the long reliever and could be mediocre but probably wont be used in situations where he will determine the outcome of the game too often. Takatsu has been totally sucking it up this spring and I have about as much confidence in him this year as I had in Koch last year.

1. Marte
2. Wunsch
3. Pollitte
4. Koch

I'll reserve judgement for the rest when I see them pitch in real games.

I haven't seen any of the other guys pitch yet, so i'm sticking with Marte, Wunsch, Pollitte, and Koch. I've heard good things about Adkins and Grilli, but so far Takatzu hasn't impressed anybody. Hopefully if he stays that way we can get somone else at the 7th spot.

3. Wunsch
4. Koch
5. Jackson
6. Grilli
7. Takatsu

If Koch is our fourth best pitcher we're in a lot of trouble. I'd rather see Ginter and Cotts make the tema over Grilli and Takatsu but that doesn't seem like it'll happen. What I'd really like to see is Wright and/or Schoeneweis and Cotts, Rauch, or Diaz in the rotation but that most certainly won't happen.

1. Marte
2. Wunsch
3. Koch
4. Politte
5. Jackson
6. Grilli
7. Ginter

I find it interesting that so many of you think Pollitte is better than Koch.

Pollitte never blew the series against the devil rays. Hopefully Koch is better this year but until I see him pitch Pollitte is better.

Politte had three straight good years before he had an injury plagued 03. He looks like he has returned to form from the looks of his spring.

Don't tell that to Tanko.

Takatsu can't be as bad as it sounds, can he? I remember the whole squad was uber-impressed after his first throwing session. Maybe it's true that the Arizona air kills his sinker...

Here's mine:

1. Marte
2. Politte
3. Wunsch
4. Koch
5. Takatsu
6. Jackson
7. Grilli

While our closer being 4th does sound a little weird, this is a group that as a whole has a chance to be really, really good.

If Jackson can get his slider back, look out for the old timer. I feel IF (key word there) he can get back that pitch, he can be reliable this year.

Don't worry, tanko will be along soon enough to tell us how bad Politte is.

I'll agree with Koch ahead of Politte for now, though.
