Some interesting comments by Tracy Ringolsby of Baseball America and the Rocky Mountain News in Denver on the current state of baseball.

For example

RSN: Is it only a matter of time until A-Rod is at SS in the Bronx, or do you think he will stay at 3B for the rest of his career? If he does move back, how soon do you think it will be, and what happens with Jeter?

TR: Jeter is an injury away from being replaced at shortstop by A-Rod. A-Rod didn't go to New York to play third base and he won't be there long.

Ummm, yes, A-Rod DID go to NY to play third...oh and to win a World Series too. I suppose the order may be reversed...but he's playin' 3B because there's no way Jeter can handle the move.

An injury away...way to go out on a limb there. DUH.
