It's the Game of the Year! (so far)
It's like the City Series Decider! (of this week anyway)
It's like World Series Game Seven! (in our imaginations)
What will you do???

Watch the NCAA.

I'll say "when does the season start" and be thankful that I won't have to see the north side denizens on my tv screen again until late June.

Any fan - Sox or Cubs - who treats this game or any other spring training game against anyone as anything more than completely insignificant is just plain silly.

I will grin from ear to ear, but realize its only a spring game.....

YAWN!!!! Like I do after every Pre-Season Game----even the one's I'm at.

I might mention it to my Cubs fan friend (only because he mentioned the outcome of the last Cubs/Sox ST game), but I won't put too much stock into it...

Who knows. I'm pissed they are pre-empting the NCAA coverage for the Sox/Cubs game. All those days they had where they could have aired games and chose not to, but when the Tourney gets here they decide to put a Sox game on then.

I picked relax, it means nothing, but getting smashed will prolly happen tonite weather we win or not.
I LUVVVV WEEKENDS!!! :gulp:

Well considering my house will soon be invaded with North Side drewling Cub fans tonight (having a party) I guess I can take a little more importance in this game that what there would normally be for ST game. I hope they win just so I can have some clout tonight, when we get into a drunken rage and I have to defend the sox in a hostile environment.

I know this is only a spring training game and it really doesn't mean much in the whole scheme of things BUT...
I WANT THE SOX TO WIN and not just win but WIN BIG, lead from start to finish and score runs in DOUBLE DIGITS!!!
Okay, I feel better now.

I'll go try to find that woman Hangar was talking to last night, and her opportunist friend, and mock them both till Hell Won't Have It Anymore. If I can't find them it should be easy to find a reasonable facsimile anywhere in Lincoln Park

It's only a spring training game, but any time the Sox win... see my sig...
ode to veeck

come home from work and have White Sock tell me "you should seen the shot Uribe hit today!"

Lot of Cub's fans at the game today, but less than the Sox for sure. It was a lot of fun watching the fans squirm and talk their bs. It's all good though, I walked away smiling. They won one, and so did we. Maybe just ST, but that's significant to me. Either way, we swung the bats well, and that is a good sign.

If the Sox win I'll be happy, then get angry again when I turn it back to NCAA and realize my brackets are screwed.
