Just some interesting tidbits. I was looking over sportsinteraction.com and the Over/Under for wins is 82.5 . (KC: 80, Min: 85.5). The price is $1.86. They have some other lines for predictions for the season under Baseball Futures if you're bored

The Sox Over/Under in Vegas was 82 wins. I put five bucks on the Sox. If they win 83, I get my money back PLUS 4.35!
Gene

p.s. They were 15/1 odds to win the World Series, and decent odd on the AL Pennant. I dont understand what someof the numbers mean, but my 5 buck bet that the sox will win the pennant will net me 4.50. There was only one head to head series bet, and that was sox/twinkies. No division odd or cubs/sox head to head.

Depends where you go. MGM was giving the Sox 10.5 games vs the Cubs. The Sox were 35-1 at Imperial Place.

The your pennant bet, the money line was -110. Meaning you have to lay 110 to win a 100. +110 would mean you lay 100 to win 100.

ok...I bet at Bally's/Hilton/Orleans......so the sox/twinkies isnt for the season series, but total games won? These were my initial forays into sports betting. I also learned NOT to bet on spring training games...three games i bet..three sox losses...
