Changes at MLB Audio............?

Caught this about MLB radio on All Acceess website:

MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL's MLB.COM inks a deal to use AKAMAI TECHNOLOGIES' global network for its audio and video Internet feeds. The deal is part of MLB's breakup of its streaming into separate contracts for recording, delivery, and marketing, and follows former partner REALNETWORKS' lawsuit over MLB's change of streaming format to WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER.

I wondered what happen to Real Player format......... :?:

Im glad realplayer is out of the equation - they were trying to charge separately to watch MLBTV, but isn't this a thread for the parking lot?

I agree this probably does belong in The Lot...

I was also wondering if anyone had a good experience w/ MLBTV online last year? I have a pretty quick connection and I tried to use it last year. It drove me nuts. I would just end up switching to audio.
