Willie Harris will surprise us with how bad he really is.

I am looking for A Row to continue where he left off last season before Carl arrived. That's what I am "looking for." Finding it may be a little more difficult.

Every time I hear Rowand's name, I think of the scene in Black Sheep when David Spade is goofy from the Nitrous leaking from the souped up cop car.

Spade: Let me see the map. HaHa RRROOOWWD... ROE-ADDS -- RRRRROEE--ADDDDSS... HaHa that's a funny word roe-ads. ROE-ADDS.

Yes, I do realize I've probably made you all dumber for having read this post.

I'm voting for Uribe.

He will see time at 2B & SS, and will probably inherit full-time 2B duties when Wee-Willie's average falls below his body weight.

If he can strike out less and raise his OBP, he could also fill the #2 spot in the order.

Who's your vote for #1 in the line up if Willie fails?

#1 was what I meant. I don't think either one of them are suited for the job, but Uribe has a better chance than Willie of holding down a starting position.

Ok, I'll let that mistake slide this time.... :D: I would have to agree with you that at this time, we don't have a lead off hitter yet. We may find that one of those two develops into one as the season evolves. Let's hope so. Frank's 40HR this year aren't going to help much if they are all solo shots.

This is easy. Uribe, because he has the least expected out of him. All he has to do is fill his role effectively and thats it. Schoenweis will be a disaster, if Harris hits .260 he will still be a disappointment at the end of the year, Rowand would have to go .305 23 75 to REALLY surprise anyone and Olivo is the type of player who won't get too much recognition until he hits .270 25 70. He's already shown what he can do defensively, anything less would be a dropoff.

I think Jon Garland and Danny Wright will combine for 30 wins.

How's that for a shocker?
