Tony!......Tony!........Valentin?

I just got back from Puerto Rico, and was looking through a local newspaper sports section, when lo and behold, there was our beloved shortstop and Puerto Rican.........Jose Valentin. He was shown in his Sox pinstripes killing a baseball . The caption listed him as..........Jose "Tony" Valentin of the Calcetin Blancas.........

Who knew his knickname was Tony? I say we chant TONY, TONY...........for him.

Any thoughts?

Maybe noone in Puerto Rico noticed that it was acutally Tony Graffanino at SS when LHP's were on the mound.

If you look at Jose's info on the White Sox site, it shows he goes sometimes by Tony, which is his middle name. His brother's name is Jose as well, but he goes by his middle name Javier.
