Chicago Rush postgame is on ESPN 1000...does that mean the game won't be broadcast?

Today's game wasn't scheduled to be on ESPN 1000. I'm streaming it from the gameday audio on mlb.com

D-Back announcer said that he had a discussion about Borchard with "Larry Walker, WS hitting coach."

Borchard up the middle for a hit!

DrCrawdad

Borchard out of the game, with an injury...

The_Floridian

I'm streaming the audio from mlb.com but it's only playing the commercials. Then there's dead-air during the actual game.

Any advice on what to do with this?

delben91

Borchard pulled from the game after limping down to first on his hit up the middle.

Don't know what's wrong yet.

After a strong first start Schoenweiss got hit hard today.

Now Carlos Castillo in to pitch. This could get ugly...

Sox lose. Bobby Smith should just stick to slashing anyone that comes near his crease. The Islanders can have him back. :(:

Jjav829
03-07-2004, 04:57 PM
Well there goes our unbeaten streak. With bases loaded and 0 out, Bobby Smith makes a great play on a high hop to get the out at home. Next batter hits one that Smith can't make the play on (scored an error) and the game ends. O well...

BTW the bases were loaded on a walk, base hit, and a misplay by Kelly Dransfeldt on a bunt to 3rd where he apparently thought the pitcher was going to field it so he broke back to the base.

This is why spring numbers are meaningless...Smith, Dransfeldt, Santiago won't be on the ML roster.

Chisox_cali
03-07-2004, 05:03 PM
Oh No. Bobby Smith and Kelly Dransfeldt better run and hide lest you feel the wrath of Lip!!! He is pissed and he's not afraid to used the teal text liberally to show his distaste for you guys.

How dare you cost us a chance at the Spring Training Championship!!!

(And Yes I do see the irony of me using said teal text)

Still though... isn't it nice to see the sox come back from a couple runs down. How rare was that in the Manuel era? Maybe Guillen's energy will make a difference this year.

I found this at whitesox.com, might shed some light on Borchard's injury...

Morning results: Borchard's strained quad apparently healed quickly, as the rookie center fielder hit a three-run home run off former Stanford teammate Jason Young during an 8-7 loss to Colorado in a Saturday morning "B" game. Brian Anderson had two hits and two RBIs, and catcher Carlos Maldonado hit a solo home run.

at the very bottom.
