Favorite times for trades

Historically, when are the periods during the year that one can expect to see trading activity?

We've gone through an off season that was quite eventful for a number of teams (but not the Sox). Now, I wouldn't expect any trades for the next few weeks, as teams will be assessing their teams in spring training. I would expect, however, that there is a period toward the end of ST that might see some increased activity, as teams determine where they have extra players and where they have holes that need to be filled.

Aside from the last few days before the Trading Deadline, I don't think there really is another hotbed of days were we expect to see multiple trades made. The Winter Meetings and Spring Training usually have a few swaps made, but not on the same level.
