2 batters faced, 2 K's for JG.

Baby Fisk

Garland struck out the first two he faced, then Todd Helton singled past Uribe. Next man was out.

The announcers are hyping their man Royce Clayton and I keep snickering!

Ugggg, I hated Hi Corbett!!! I went there in 2000 for spring training. It's old, not fan friendly and hard metal bleachers (the same ones you sit on at high school games.) I could have gotten Todd Heltons autograph but passed, Damn!!!

Crede scores. SOx lead 1 zip.

All right we are on the board at Hi-Corbett......I remember Hi before the renovation in the early '90's...sae lots of Tucson Toro games and 50 cent beer nights :gulp: ..close seats, plenty of foul balls and the way baseball was before these new ballmall spring training sites....but yes I like TEP cause the grass area is a great place to kick back and let the kids run around......Bill Roamer doing the Hi-Corbett park anouncing is a good friend and really great person...former Chicago kid who's Dad was FBI guy in Chi-town.......

Ground Ball by Rowand. Valenzuela who was on 3rd due to a wild pitch, tries to score gets thrown out at home. Alomar deep out.

-Konerko sucks, making out #1...

-Mario Valenzuela hits a double off the wall, 410 feet. Apparently missed a home run by inches...

Valenzuela goes to 3rd on a passed ball

-Rowand grounds to 3rd, Valenzuela nailed at home. (White Sox Baseball: sounds about right.)

-Alomar, Jr. flies out to deep left.

2-0 Sox, Mid 6.

(BTW, seems like Valenzuela does well nearly every Spring, but never makes it up to the Majors. Is that cause we already have a glut of DH-type first-baseman guys?)

I like to do that every once in a while on MLB Season Ticket (or whatever it's called on digital cable). The perspective is kinda neat, but the one thing you notice is that most other announcers suck. They're boring or have no idea what they are talking about...Makes you appreciate Hawk. Love him or hate him, he's anything but boring.

Very impressive pitching performance. As for the Sox base running......well looks like we are in mid season form for stupidity.
