Where is our $5mil man?

He's not playing in the D-Back game today and there's been virtually no press about him at ST. The last thing I heard about him was some comments he made about Frank at Soxfest.

Maybe his work on hitting lefties hasn't panned out this offseason?

Maybe he's keeping a low profile until the steroid controversy dies down a bit............

He's been around. About the steroids, he's already been quoted in the paper that he thinks that they are bad for the game and need to be rid of. With all the other stuff in ST, he may not be the center of attention but he has been around.

He's been quiet.

Just like his productivity.

hopefully he got lost

At this point we should all be cheering for Jose V and the other Sox players. Jose has been around and I see from time to time he is quoted on some team subject. No real issue with him not playing in the ST game today, which was rained out anyway. I don't see some of the other regs in there either. I am glad we kept Valentin at SS for this team.

Oddly enough Randy Johnson, the pitcher that was supposed to start todays game, is left handed... Maybe Ozzie does know what he's doing!

Hopefully he got lost and hasn't found out his way back. I rather have Uribe play instead of him. Just think, if we can't find him, we don't have to pay him.

there was an artical about him in the southtown i think something about him being a team leader or something i cant remember but there was a artical about him

The only reason that they signed Jose to that contract is so that he can help Ozzie manage. They are buddies and Jose wanted out if they didn't give him what he wanted. On any other team he would be an off the bench guy.
