They've got an owner who feels passionately about both people and the sport of baseball but cannot communicate his feelings to fans who resent the businesslike approach demanded by larger investors in his group.

so uncle jerry has his hands tied by other investers? gimmie a freaking break!!!!

"I really really want to spend like the yankees but the faceless investors in this group keep all the money locked up in the bowels of our wonderful stadium. Speaking of which i also wanted to build a retro style stadium and i never wanted to move the team. It was ALL their ideas. i would trade ANYTHING for a world series championship! Oh, and i got some swampland in florida to sell you too."
