OK, if you know it's on and it bothers you so much, why don't you change the channel?

Well:

1) I wanted to see if it would get more pub time than Frank's segment yesterday (It did)

and

2) It's on every channel and radio station.

Any further questions?

The Sox' Disco Demolition was #5 on ESPN's all time top 10 blow ups.

It was some manager getting really peeved at writers and he ended up throwing a lot of stuff and a reporter came out of the room with blood on his head.

It was Hal McRae when he used to manage the Royals. I crack up every time I see that! :D:

I asked because I believe Disco Demolition ranks up at the top of the list. That was a very big deal at the time

If you ever expect ESPN to rank anything at the top for White Sox fans, you'll be waiting awhile.

Correction: Those nitwits would rank the Sox at the top of the list for: Most violent fans (They would gleefully point out the 2 incidents at the Cell), and would say we're worse than Raider/Eagle fans. They would be horribly wrong, but that's never stopped them before.

ESPN knows what the average American is interested in. That's our society today and what it's degenrated into.

They're just trying to make as much money as they can. If fans and more importantly non-sports fans weren't interested in this junk they wouldn't be doing it.

And again you have to give credit to the Cubs PR / marketing department and Harry Caray's for generating a ton of publicity (and added revenue) over something that should be symbolic of one of the greatest collapses in MLB history.

That's what marketing is all about. I wonder if Rob Gallas was listening and taking notes.

I have never been this frustrated as a Sox fan. And it's not even the baseball aspect that is bothering me.

It's good to know Blago went on a "No Pardon for the Bartman Ball Tour" while he's screwing over State workers left and right in an attempt to "balance" the State's budget.

I'm surprised he didn't offer Dan Patrick one of the aforementioned jobs at twice the salary the screwed-over State worker was making. Then again, DP probably didn't contribute to his campaign.
