From Cubs.com:

A minimum of 159 regular-season contests will be televised in the Chicago area on WGN (68 games), Fox Sports Net Chicago (63 games), Fox Sports Net Plus (nine games) and WCIU (seven games). In addition, seven Cubs spring training affairs will be televised in Chicago (four on WGN and three on FSN).

Eight Cubs contests are currently scheduled to be televised by the Fox Network, while four games are scheduled for ESPN.

Even though most households are equipped with cable nowadays, that's the way the Trib awards their fanbase for filling that sinkhole. They take more games off of WGN. That's right, Cubune. Bleed 'em dry some more! They'll keep coming back! They don't know any better! :D:

Actually, if you add the WGN games, WCIU games, and Fox games, that's at least 83 games on free tv. Which is about where I think the Cubs gave been the last few years, since they started using FSN.

Yeah, but for all of their out of town fans (a big part of their fanbase), they don't get WCIU because that's a local Chicago channel only, & unless FOX shows them as a national game (which is too often), they won't get those either.
