In case some of you are wondering in the Journalistic World, a Kiley-ism is named after the cubfan/propaganda writer (and I use the term writer loosely) mike kiley.
In yesterdays suntimes, he began his piece with the sentence ".... how Passionate cub fans really are". Of course, he used this Sentence as the premise for his whole article. We all know this to NOT be the truth, but Kiley likes to "Plant" statements like this, so that others in the media borrow on it and Believe it to be truth. He crosses the line, back and forth, from beat reporter, to columnist, back to beat reporter, to fan, and back to columnist often in the same story.
He is disgusting to read, and frankly, I stopped reading Midway thru his piece. Kiley is more dangerous as a "writer" very similar to our "friend" who was in charge of the Press Duties for Iraq, before Saddam was ousted.
