When I saw Doug Glanville contributing to ESPN.com, I thought about how many smart baseball players are in the MLB. I know Kerry Lightenberg has a degree in chemical engineering. Do the Sox have any college graduates on their team?

Brad Ausmus is an Ivy Leaguer. I'm pretty sure he went to Princeton.

Does anyone know how well Ozzie did in his english class, or how JR did in business 101?

Kelly Wunsch has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. Thomas graduated from Auburn but I'm not sure what his degree is in.

Mr Zero, one of the newest Sox graduated from a very high level university in Japan (one of the ten best) and is quite a sharp cookie.

I could be wrong, but I thought Tony LaRussa had a law degree about the time he started out managing the Sox many moons ago

My dad, a prosecutor for Grundy County, said there have been 7 lawyers who played or managed in the MLB. Six of them are in the HOF, will LaRussa make it 7 for 7?

A little off topic, but Craig Krenzel, QB for Ohio State is a molecular biology major. I remember reading that he had straight A's in highschool
