The state of Arizona is looking into passing a new bill that would give some protection to towns from baseball owners moving their spring training sites.

There has been talk of that down here for a while. Tucson doesn't seem to mind too much because they don't draw very well (compared to D'backs) and they are confident they can get another team because of the facilities. Personally, it doesn't matter to me, Diablo Stadium is only about a 1/2 hour drive farther for me than Tucson Electric Park.
