I just got the 2004 Spring Training Baseball Yearbook, and it predicts that the White Sox will win the AL Central despite the losses of Bartolo Colon and Tom Gordon. They believe our hitting will lead us to the division. They also predict that the Cubs will win the NL Central. Its other division winners are: Yankees, Angels, Phillies, and Padres.
The yearbook magazine also lists baseball's Top 100 Prospects, and the White Sox have four of them: Jeremy Reed (9), Kris Honel (64), Joe Borchard (75), and Neal Cotts (91). That ranks us 10th in Major League Baseball, tied with the Cubs and three other teams who also have four. The Braves leads MLB with 7 prospects.
