As Pulsipher comes in to replace him his final line was:5.2 ip, 3 er, 5 h, 3k, 2bb. That's pretty good for a guy that had been struggling. That outing lowered his era actually. Only 7 base runners in 6.2 innings is a lot better than he had been doing. A lot of that is contributed to fewer walks. That's crucial. I know it's Detroit, but it should give Wright some confidence.
