Additional Bullpen Help

Brandon Villafuerte was released by the Padres earlier today. That would be a solid addition at a low investment for the Sox bullpen.

I thought the same thing when I saw this, but he has no AL experience IIRC. A minor league contract wouldn't be a bad investment.

I can't believe they released Villafuerte. Wasn't he suppossed to supplant Hoffman when he retired?
