View Full Version : What a Great Off Season

One year ago moves to pick up Colon, Gordan, Koch fed optimism in the land of pale hose. Heightened expectations in the league's weakest division set me up to experience :gulp: the most painful Sox season in my 40 years of cheering.

This year with the Sox going cheap on the managerial replacement and holding tight to the $58 million budget, I have no expectations.

This year will be less stressful. My wife, children, and even my pathetic golf game would like to thank Sox management.

The great part about having no expectations going into the season is that anything good will be a nice surprise. I have no expectations but, then again, I don't expect this group to do much either.

I know I don't expect myself to spend any money on the White Sox this season unless they're competitve and in first place.
