Remember when Paul started that game in LF? I wonder if the Angels are stupid enough to try that.

It did put him down the same path as Hall of Famer Carlton Fisk.

Wasn't there a guy in the not to distant past (60's or 70's?) that played every position in one game for the Sox?

Steve "Drop my pants at Fenway Park" Lyons did it.

I wonder if the LA TImes was involved in the deal, and picked up Josh's option for writing a Halos Column

Scott Sheldon (http://www.baseball-reference.com/s/sheldsc01.shtml) played every position in a game against us in 2000, too.

Josh Paul ought to hang it up. It's obvious he's never going to be more than a minor league/ML-bench catcher.

Maybe he is happy having a chance to play the game (regardless of the level).

I wouldn't hang it up if I was him. A ML back up catcher is still a pretty sweet job to have.

But I do agree......he doesn't have much to offer.

He does have post-season experience...

Agree, also the longer he hangs on the greater his pension.

So you are saying the Salt Lake Stingers will contend for the PCL title?

Killa, no reason for JP to hang it up if he likes playing... Where else is he going to make $50,000 or more in only 5 months?? In reality, he'll probably make closer to $75,000.
