I haven't heard about this either. MLB.com still has Ponson listed as an unrestricted free agent and the Orioles website has no information on signing Ponson. He is still out there and not a member of the Orioles.

I don't think that's how they meant it. I think they meant it as after the Orioles sign Ponson, they will look to sign another pitcher, assuming that they will sign Ponson.

That's how I read it.

That's how I read it.

That's how I read it to. It is almost a foregone conclusion that he will sign with the Orioles. I wonder what is holding it up.
