I think he's a good fit there (with the team undergoing a major overhaul) and will help them compete against the Bosox and NY.

The only 2 SPs I know for sure are Daal and Lopez. The rest will probably all be minor leaguers like Kurt Ainsworth unless they sign Ponson

Good job Orioles. Way to waste some more money in your quest to finish in 4th place! Morons.

Josh Towers = Blue Jay (the team that will finish in the top 3 in the AL East).

trying to compete in that division is pointless unless you plan on speending 150 mill+ but you godda admire there spirit thinking they can compete in that divison wish our ownership was like that

I admire it-they are giving their fans some hope. Foolish may it be, but hope sells tickets, not roofs or fan decks

While they're efforts may be futile, should they just roll over and die like the Sox?

Plus they're attendance will likely see a boost because of it. If they have the money to spend, which they've said they do, I fail to see how its moronic.

They are quickly positioning themselves to be the Texas Rangers of the American League East. Fitting, maybe even ironic, that Rafy came over from Arlington.
