What would we have done with him? He wouldn't play 1st we have 2 already and couldn't dh. Maybe this was assuming we got rid of Paulie or something. I don't think he would have meshed well with the Sox but that's just me.

today's hotstove posted the washburn-konerko rumor. is there anybody in house who can step up and play first base? by the way, julian tavarez is st louis bound....
