View Full Version : Is Manos Clutch???

Here are some stats from this season to chew on folks. Well, I did a little research and the Sox are 10-11 when Manos homers in a game. Obviously you can't take a lot from this stat, but 7 of the 10 wins, a Manos home run made the difference in the game. There are obviously more ways to come up in the clutch other than a homer, but it would take much too long to look through all the games he just got hits and find out which were key. But 7 of his home runs have made the difference in a win. Some other stats you can look at are BA with runners on base (.279--36 for 129), BA with runners in scoring position (.310--22 for 71), and runners in scoring position with 2 outs (.313--10 for 32). Keep in mind his regular BA for the season is at .270. I decided to put a little extra effort into post #500.
